The cutest Cerberos you'll ever see.

I went for a walk today in the park while waiting for my Daddy to get a haircut. It was a nice park and a nice day, but all I could think about is where Daddy went. Whenever I could I would stop and look around to try to find him! I guess I shouldn't worry so much the next time, since Daddy always comes back.

My Walk

I went for a long walk this morning! Just take a look at this GPS track.

View Luma Walks in a larger map
Total Distance: 4.81 km (3.0 mi)
Total Time: 59:49
Average Speed: 4.82 km/h (3.0 mi/h)
Average Moving Speed: 6.74 km/h (4.2 mi/h)
Min Elevation: 213 m (698 ft)
Max Elevation: 242 m (794 ft)

Well technically, it's where daddy walked, since he doesn't let me carry the cell phone while I'm in the dog park. So I must have run around more than 3 mi today! Here are some photos of me before and after the walk, boy was I pooped.

Dental Health- Part 2

Here's me, hard at work, in case you couldn't see before.

Dental health

Thanksgiving injury

I got bit by a little Silky Terrier over Thanksgiving... My doctor said I'm just fine but laughed at me and said "how embarrassing". Then she poked me in the neck to "take blood" and poked my back twice for "booster shots". Then mommy and daddy made me walk around outside the doctor's office until I pooped. They said it's my annual. I don't know what that means but I don't like it. Thanksgivings are stupid. (♯`∧´)

Work is hard...

Helping daddy look up binding constants today. I helped mommy with Root Cause Analysis earlier this week. I'm so tired. Work is hard. I just want to go to the park!

My Breakfast

I woke up really hungry today. I ate my regular breakfast, but my tummy was still too empty! So while Daddy went to the grocery store to buy his breakfast and beer, I helped myself to some Snickers Dark (they got a whole big box of them from Costco, I figured they could spare one). The candy bar was delicious, but I didn't get a chance to lick the wrapper clean, like I like to do.  Instead I got caught and yelled at =(

Luckily, I'm a resourceful girl,  so after Daddy was done yelling at me, I went to get my Mini-Snickers hidden away next to the garage. I almost forgot about it, but the delicious taste of peanuts, caramel and dark chocolate helped jog my memory. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough, and Daddy saw me running away with it. Darn. I guess was being bad, but still, I totally didn't deserve the humiliation of having these photos taken. Stupid parents. So. Not. Fair.

The Dark Side of the Luma

Earlier in the day I was a little worried. There was all this commotion, and all of a sudden my favorite rickety old bed-on-top-of-a-cage was gone! How was I to look out the window?

The Dark Side of the Luma
Luckily mom and dad realized their mistake and replaced it with a bigger, sturdier, and much more stylish two-tier bed. It took me a while to get used to the stairs being on the other side, but now I can relax and enjoy. If only they would close the shades...

From My point of view

This is one of my favorite bushes to hang out in. I can look out towards the driveway, as such, so I can see people coming. Also, it's next to a tree with a squirrel nest. I think that's the squirrel that picked a fight fight me a couple of months ago. Just wait till I catch him on the ground... I guess it could be a her as well, I'm a puppy, so I don't know how to tell...

I think I outgrew this bench.

This is the bench where I usually store all my outside toys, especially if they need to dry off after I pull them through a puddle. I don't really fit on it, but mommy and daddy said they'd give me a treat if I sat on it for a bit, so I humored them.

Still learning

Daddy says one of the best things about snow is making snowballs. I tried making some, but I think I did it wrong. But now I'm nice and cool no matter where I lay down!
